Hi,
first of all, thanks to everyone for their help and participation in
the LinuxDays 2006! Things wouldn't have been the same without the
presence of LiLux, both in the Expo where the LiLux stand was manned
at all times (well, anytime I looked anyway), and in the courses and
presentations (thanks especially to Thierry, Alain, Pascal, Brent
who invested time and "congé" for preparing and giving these).
As far as we can tell (we don't have the analysis of the evaluation
sheets yet), visitors were quite happy with the offering (maybe with
the exception of lunch, but that already had some consequences).
The website
http://www.linuxdays.lu/ has a number of pictures by
the team available, and a link to Till Kamppeter's pictures. The
handouts from the courses should also soon be uploaded. Have fun
checking these out.
As a little update on the status of the "Free Beer Project" (for
those who weren't present, check out the pictures from the evening
of the second day - yes, we started brewing an open source beer!),
the stuff has been fermenting for two weeks, and we plan on
transferring it to bottles this evening, after which the beer
will have to ferment for slightly more than another week. Only
then will things get interesting, when someone will have to taste
this (and survive the experience)...
Greetings, Eric
