- Europe is no longer so far behind in computer science.
- With Mistral and other IA companies we can compete with the US
- As far as hardware (chip) manufacturing is concerned, a Dutch company plays a leading role: ASML . They make the machines used to manufacture the microchips.
- We should become more active
- Our bank, CCP is getting more and more expensive. Monthly fees tripled from 2€ to 6€, that is now 72€ / year.
- Maybe we should consider changing banks
- Apparently (?) other associations only pay 3.50€ / months, so it's not the same for everybody either

Note: some expenses logically tied to 2025 have been paid and booked beginning of 2026. This makes the balance look better than it really should be. For the future, expenses will be booked in the year that they are billed, rather than the year when they are paid or refunded.

Discussion about the statutes
A vote on the statutes could not take place as we didn't have the necessary quorum (14 members present or represented needed, but only 9 present and 2 represented)
A second assembly need to take place to finalize the vote on the statues.
There was a short discussion on the proposed changes, and an alternative proposal for article 2 (goals of the association). There was some confusion about what the final version of article 2 would be as, in accordance with legal practice, we had only sent out a listing of the changes, rather than a new consolidated version.
As that format turned out to be too hard to follow we will send out a consolidated version for the next general assembly.
Election of new treasurer
Due to pending vote on the statutes, which change the rules of election, the election of the new board could not be done.
However, as the current treasurer resigned, just the treasurer was elected:
