Hi Frédéric,

well I have zero experience with suse, but I think the root of your
problem lies in that the device is not automatically unmounted when
hotplug detects the removal of the device, probably because it is used
by some process. One solution would be finding the script that calls the
umount command and enter a -f flag to force the umount. Good luck!
