My views can be found in the last posts. There already has been too many 
from me ;-) Let's give the chance to others to say something.

But perhaps there is already a good webpage comparing distros? I already 
have contributed a link to a webpage containing comparisons of window 
managers.

If the topic already has been discussed to death and if the internet is 
full of it, perhaps somebody can contribute a good link???

No, I am *not* interested in Usenet flamefests.
