Kernel is 2.6.5 (from Suse 9.1)
The soundcard is an onboard sound device (Intel 82801EB / ICH5 chipset,
AC97 audio controller)

Yes, works fine

On-board Intel 865G / i810

CPU: P4 2.8GHz
Chipset Intel 865G
I installed mplayer today, and this one works fine (no crashes, sound
and video synchronized, except in Firefox, where some videos are slow
with sound and video not synchronized any more: sound finishes before video)
Viewing of DVDs also works fine with mplayer (including subtitles)
Although I can use mplayer, I hope I can resolve this xine/kaffeine
problem one day.
Thanks for any input.
