Tech tips from Thierry

Here are some of the command or applications I use and then forget how I used them.

Mulitmedia:

   - Useful tool to create films from photos: sudo apt-get install imagination
   - view exif information: exiv2
   - convert some frames to jpeg: mplayer -vo jpeg -endpos 20
   - convert cue to ape: sudo apt-get install monkeys-audio libmac2 --> 
      cuebreakpoints *.cue | shnsplit -o flac *.ape
   - graphical sound conversion: sudo apt-get install soundconverter


In Kaffein if you want to scan all your transponders stop the playback. Idiotic but good to remember.
